Create Your Story at FCPL’s Memory Lab
Frederick County Public Libraries' Memory Lab features analog-to-digital conversion equipment and video editing software. This mobile lab enables patrons to digitize family memories, record family histories, and remix them into a personal narrative. Formats that can be digitized at the Memory Lab include photographs (up to 8.5 x 11.7 inches), slides, negatives, compact audio cassettes, VHS, VHS-C, and mini-DV.

Share your stories
Frederick County Public Libraries also seeks residents who are interested in sharing their stories in filmed oral history interviews which will be collected by FCPL’s Maryland Room and made accessible via Digital Maryland.
