Maryland Room Photocopying and Microfilm Printing Services

Library patrons using Maryland Room materials from a distance may request photocopies from books and microfilm copying. Photocopies are $.20 (cents) per page. Microfilm copies are $.25 (cents) per page. For requests that require more than a first class stamp, an additional postage charge will be applied. A bill will be enclosed with the materials.

For requests of 30 or more pages, payment will be made in advance of order fulfillment.

Photocopying of book pages is available on letter size (8 1/2 x 11) and legal size (8 1/2 x 14) paper. Microfilm copies are available on letter size paper.

Requests for copies are filled in the order in which they are received, and are fulfilled within one month of receiving your request. Written or e-mail requests are accepted. Details, such as title, author, and page number(s) for books, reel title, date, and article titles for newspaper microfilm, will speed fulfillment of your request.

Copyrighted material is reproduced in accordance with the United States Copyright law. A condition of U.S. Copyright law is that the photocopy or reproduction may not be used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research. It is the responsibility of the patron to adhere to this condition of U.S. Copyright law. FCPL reserves the right to refuse to fulfill a copying request if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
