Soolah Hoops

Come join Soolah as she shares the joys of hula hooping. Kids will be entertained with a demonstration of hula hooping tricks with different kinds of hula hoops. Soolah will share her hoops, teaching kids how to hoop, how to do some tricks and play some games! Hoops will be provided. Please be sure your child is in comfortable clothing and has a water bottle to stay hydrated. Best for children in grades K-8.

Computer Basics - Summer Series

Three-session series with Computer Volunteer Mike Mathis. Sessions will feature computer labs to learn specific basic computer functions with step-by-step instructions. Includes information about using personal or library computers. There will be opportunities to ask questions. Attendance at all three sessions strongly encouraged. Summer Session Dates are 6/3; 7/1; 8/5

Babies With Books: Birth to Twenty-Four Months

Get to know other families an help your baby develop listening and language skills. Tickets will be available on the day of the program for the first 15 parent/child pairs. This program is limited, so come early for your ticket.

R.E.A.D. ® with Wags for Hope

Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a specially trained "listening" animal! The Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) program works to improve children's reading and communication skills by providing registered therapy animals who volunteer with their owner/handler (as a team)to meet with and listen to children read.
