The Frederick Reads theme for 2014 - The Music of Language - begins March 2 with Natasha Trethewey, the nineteenth United States Poet Laureate, who will charm the audience at the Weinberg Center for the Arts with readings from her poetry collections and other works.
In April, Frederick Reads is thrilled to welcome Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Rosanne Cash. A distinguished and beloved musician, Cash’s discography consists of 15 studio albums including her newest CD, The River & The Thread, which was released in January. She is the author of four books and her essays have been featured in The New York Times and other major publications.
