Storyland: A Sensory Storytime for Little Ones

Join us for a special storytime in partnership with Frederick County Infants and Toddlers Program. Meet new friends and share books, music, activities, and more. Ages birth - 36 months with an adult. Registration opens two weeks before the storytime event.

Habla Espanol? A Special Storytime!

Take advantage of your child's natural language learning abilities: bring him or her to this special storytime in Spanish presented by Cynthia Fraga-Canadas from Mount St. Mary's University. Sing songs, listen to stories, and introduce your child to another language! Ages 2-5, with an adult.

Transition to Twos

Is your curious toddler transitioning from baby to child? Transition to Twos nurtures this exciting time in your child’s development through books, movement, music and rhymes. We’ll begin learning to play with others, wait turns, and listen to stories, as well as dance, sing, laugh and have fun! This storytime is designed specifically for caregivers and children 18 months to 30 months. Registration is available two weeks before the monthly program series begins.

Frederick County Infants & Toddlers Program Playgroup (ages birth-36 mos)

Art Zone: Drawing for Beginners

Friday, November 7, 2014 - 4:00pm to 4:30pm
In this beginning drawing class, we will explore basic drawing tools and techniques. Learn about the elements of art including, line, value, texture, color, shape, and space. We will practice several quick and easy drawing exercises to release your inner creative genius. Each participant will create his or her own work of art to take home. All materials and tools will be provided. No previous drawing skills are required. Ages 9-12.

Teddy Bear Camp Out

In honor of National Teddy Bear Day, bring your teddy (or other stuffed animal)to the library for some fun activities, stories, and crafts. Afterwards, your teddy is invited to spend the weekend at the library. Pick up your teddy on Monday morning after 10am and see what fun your friend had at camp!
