Science and the Arts: STEAM Camp

Tuesday, July 22, 2014 - 3:00pm to 4:30pm
Age Group: 
Learn about art masters in this three week "mini" art camp. We'll discuss how science influenced various painters and their environment and the time period. You'll even get to explore your own unique take on their style of painting too. Please wear old clothing and be prepared to get messy! Ages 6-10. Registration required.

Science Under the Stars

Fizz Boom Science Experiments - every week a different experiment - this is a very hands on program, so come prepared to get messy, get dirty, get creative! We'll build, take apart, examine, play and discover. Ages 6-11, please register weekly to assure for adequate supplies.

Starlight Family Storytime

Transition to Two's

Is your curious toddler transitioning from baby to child? Transition to Twos nurtures this exciting time in your child’s development through books, movement, music and rhymes. We’ll begin learning to play with others, wait turns, and listen to stories, as well as dance, sing, laugh and have fun! This storytime is designed specifically for caregivers and children 18 months to 30 months.

Teddy Bears in the Park

Petite Playgroup at the Library!

Enjoy an hour of independent play during which you and your child can socialize with other parents, caregivers and children! Each playgroup will start with 15 minutes of stories, rhymes and songs led by your friendly children's librarian. The library will provide the space and a variety of educational toys to explore and share! For ages 0-3.
