Yesterday morning FCPL debuted our new website. Unfortunately as part of the process it has caused difficulties for some of our patrons in communicating with the catalog properly. These issues have been corrected but there may be a period of time before they show for our patrons. Please try refreshing the page by holding down the CTRL key and pressing the R key. If that does not work - please clear your cache and try accessing the site again. This process should complete within the next few days.
You may now register online for a Library Card by filling out our Online User Registration form in the online catalog. Once you've received your Temporary ID number, visit any FCPL Branch to pick up your permanent card. You may use your Temporary ID number to place a hold on up to three items. Proof of address is required. For a child without proof of address, a parent's proof of address is needed.
Most FCPL materials may be renewed two times unless another customer has placed a hold on the title. Downloadable eBooks or audiobooks may be renewed once. Some Interlibrary Loan materials (those from other Maryland public libraries) can be renewed with special permission by bringing the item into the library. See Borrowing Things: Checkouts, Loan Terms and Fines for more information.
