Frederick County Public Libraries offers free public wireless Internet access at all library branches.
The FCPL Internet Use Policy applies to the use of these data lines.
Library staff are not available to assist with connection or troubleshooting.
The Library is not responsible for damage to user’s equipment or any data loss while using the library’s data lines.

What services can I connect to?
Patrons can browse the web and access secure websites. In order to protect our network security, use of FTP, telnet, SMTP and most other non-web Internet functions are not available.
Printing via the wireless network is available at the C. Burr Artz Public Library. Printing is not available over the wireless network at other branches.
What equipment do I need?
You need a computer and wireless network adapter that supports the 802.11b protocol.
How do I connect?
You do not need to enable any kind of security, but you may need to select our network, listed below, with your wireless networking software.
How long can I be connected?
There is no time limit on access, but you will need to click on acceptance of our wireless policy every day.
