Art Zone: Recycled Art Collages

In this beginning art class we will learn how to create a collage using recycled materials. Each participant will have the opportunity to create their own recycled collage to take home. All materials and tools will be provided. No previous drawing skills are required.

Join us as we explore our local state parks with the help of Park Rangers. We will learn about the flora and fauna who call the park home before heading out on a trek ourselves. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes! 9/12 – meet at Cunningham Falls State Park Lower Trail/Cliff Trail trailhead, 9/26 – meet at Gambrills State Park at the Trailhead Parking Lot on Gambrill Park Road , 11/7 – meet at Cunningham Falls State Park Cat Rock Trail trailhead.

R.E.A.D. ® with Wags for Hope

Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a specially trained "listening" animal! The Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) program works to improve children's reading and communication skills by providing registered therapy animals who volunteer with their owner/handler (as a team)to meet with and listen to children read.

Poketown Gym! – A Pokemon Trading Card League for all ages!

The Poketown Gym, an official Pokemon League, provides a place for you to get together with other fans of Pokemon to have some fun. Use your own cards to make decks and play with others. You can also bring your Pokemon Video Games for exciting head-to-head battles. You can play, trade, and earn cool prizes like special promotional cards and booster packs, all for free!

Time for Twos

Nurture your two year old's love of books through music, movement, and stories while helping to develop their language, motor and social skills. Registration is available two weeks before the monthly program series begins.
