Book Lovers Trivia Night

Adult book lovers: join your hosts: FCPL, Brainstorm Comics, and Curious Iguana Bookstore, to test your knowledge in a fun-filled evening of book-themed trivia, featuring everything from literary classics to graphic novels and contemporary bestsellers.

Play solo or sign up as a team, with up to four members.

Refreshments generously donated by MOM's Organic Market.

Sign-ups begin at 5:00. Game begins at 5:30.

Crafting with Friends - Paper Crafts

This adult paper craft meetup is being arranged as a community service through the Friends of the Thurmont Regional Library. Do you scrapbook, stamp, make cards, or some other paper craft? Join us on the third Thursday of each month to hang out with other crafty people. No need to sign up - just drop in with your own project and supplies.

Starlight Family Storytime

Is your curious toddler transitioning from baby to child? Transition to Twos nurtures this exciting time in your child’s development through books, movement, music and rhymes. We’ll begin learning to play with others, wait turns, and listen to stories, as well as dance, sing, laugh and have fun! This storytime is designed specifically for caregivers and children 18 months to 30 months. Registration is available two weeks before the monthly program series begins.

The Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) program works to improve children's reading and communication skills by providing registered therapy animals who volunteer with their owner/handler (as a team)to meet with and listen to children read. *Allergy Alert! The dogs and cats are live animals.*
