The Hour of Code

Join us for The Hour of Code, a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics! The Hour of Code program, set during Computer Science Education Week, will teach basic coding with and without the use of technology. Ages 7-12, registration is required.

Gingerbread House Contest

The holidays are a time to do things that celebrate and create traditions. We all have cherished memories of creating something beautiful to mark this special time of year. We think decorating a gingerbread house is a perfect way to craft new memories, and we’re hoping you’ll join us in celebrating the sweet traditions and beauty of the holiday season by entering our gingerbread house decorating contest!

To enter, pick up a rules/entry form with recipes at the Urbana Regional Library Children's Desk. The gingerbread houses will be judged by friendly library staff.
