Transition to Twos

Is your curious toddler transitioning from baby to child? Transition to Twos nurtures this exciting time in your child’s development through books, movement, music and rhymes. We’ll begin learning to play with others, wait turns, and listen to stories, as well as dance, sing, laugh and have fun! This storytime is designed specifically for caregivers and children 18 months to 30 months. Registration is available two weeks before the monthly program series begins.

Lightsaber and Knight Academy Demo with Red Lotus Martial Arts Center

Would you like to find your inner hero? Come out to the Edward F. Fry Memorial Library and let Red Lotus Martial Arts Center help you learn! Learn about basic sword fencing instruction which builds confidence, hand eye coordination, and basic self defense. We will also talk about building your own lightsaber and ways to wield like a true Jedi Knight.

Intergenerational Book Club: El Deafo

Poketown Gym! – A Pokemon Trading Card League for all ages!

Concert is free and begins at 2 pm. This series is celebrating six years of bringing local music to the library. This event is underwritten by the Friends of the Thurmont Regional Library. The Friends will have snacks and drinks available for purchase at the event.
