TinkerTime - Intro to ZOOB!

ZOOB is an award-winning building set with a difference—the pieces move after you put them together. So you can play with your creations, instead of just looking at them. ZOOB is all about exploring, inventing, and discovering how you can build what you want to build!

In this session, Miss Deb will give a hands-on demonstration on the parts, how to use ZOOB to build beginning-level models and more!

***PLEASE NOTE - For ages 6-12. This class is the first of three. By registering for this class you will be registered for all three.

R.E.A.D. ® with Wags for Hope

Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a specially trained "listening" animal! The Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) program works to improve children's reading and communication skills by providing registered therapy animals who volunteer with their owner/handler (as a team)to meet with and listen to children read.
*Allergy Alert! The dogs and cats are live animals.*

Is your curious toddler transitioning from baby to child? Transition to Twos nurtures this exciting time in your child’s development through books, movement, music and rhymes. This storytime is designed specifically for caregivers and children 18 months to 30 months. Registration is available two weeks before the monthly program series begins.

Photography Basics for Kids

Grab your camera and your parents and come learn how to take great pictures! The Frederick Camera Clique is holding a free class on camera basics and composition. Come shoot with us along Carroll Creek. All camera types welcome, except cell phone cameras. If you have a digital camera, the Clique will print 2 copies of your best picture. You will get to take one copy home with you and the other copy will hang in the library for all to see for a month! All students must supply their own camera and be escorted by an adult. For ages 8-12. Maximum attendance is 20 kids.

Bouncing Babies Story & Playtime

My First Book Club
