This hands-on event is a fantastic way to experiment with basic scientific concepts using a variety of tools and materials. Explore and learn as you travel through 4 fun science fair stations. Be prepared to get a little messy. Register early - space is limited to 16.

STEMsational Challenge!

Join us for this STEMsational Experience. On July 23rd, we'll be conducting a Bottle Rocket Experience. You can bring your own 2-liter or smaller bottle with soda-size top, decorated or not. (The top of the rocket will be the bottom of the bottle.)How high can yours go? You get to pump it with our bicycle pump for blast off! (You might get wet.)

Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a therapy pet! The Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) program improves children's reading and communication skills by employing a powerful method: reading to a dog or cat. But not just any dog or cat. R.E.A.D. pets are registered therapy animals who volunteer with their owner/handlers as a team, going to schools, libraries and many other settings as reading companions for children. This program is held every 4 weeks. Sept 21, Oct 19, Nov 16.

Allergy Alert! The dogs and cats are live animals.
