Paul & Mary, an acoustic duo from Thurmont/Woodsboro, play an eclectic mix of rock, country and pop blended into a folksy acoustic duo. Concert is free and begins at 2 pm. This series is celebrating six years of bringing local music to the library. This event is underwritten by the Friends of the Thurmont Regional Library. The Friends will have snacks and drinks available for purchase at the event.

R.E.A.D. ® with Wags for Hope

Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a specially trained "listening" animal! The Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) program works to improve children's reading and communication skills by providing registered therapy animals who volunteer with their owner/handler (as a team)to meet with and listen to children read.
