Have you ever wondered about the bugs that you often see in your backyard, at the playground, or in the park? Do you know which ones are potentially harmful? Which are harmless? Which bugs are beneficial to the environment? How about which bugs might be harmful to the environment? Learn the answers to these questions and more in this informative presentation on backyard bugs.

Read to a New Dog Friend - Wags for Hope

Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a therapy pet! The Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) program improves children's reading and communication skills by employing a powerful method: reading to a dog or cat. But not just any dog or cat. R.E.A.D. pets are registered therapy animals who volunteer with their owner/handlers as a team, going to schools, libraries and many other settings as reading companions for children. Science and the Arts: STEAM Program

Learn about art masters in this three week "mini" art program. We'll discuss how science influenced various painters and their environment and the time period. You'll even get to explore your own unique take on their style of painting too. Please wear old clothing and be prepared to get messy! Ages 6-10. Registration required.
